Summer Fun

It's been a while since I've updated this blog--and Summer is already halfway done! Here's what Zayden's been up to:

Hanging out on the patio swing at Lolo and Lola's house

Zayden spent a weekend at Lolo and Lola's house so that Dave and I could hang out and have some quality time. Parenthood is such a busy (yet highly rewarding) life, but it's still very important to invest in your relationship with your partner. We definitely believe in the importance of balancing quality time with each other and family time. We kept it simple--dinner and a movie!

We also had a get together with Dave's family for a late Father's day lunch at PF Changs. Zayden was all over the place at that restaurant. Luckily it wasn't busy so he was free to roam.

Happy Father's Day!

Each weekend we try to take advantage of our time and have family outings. Since we don't have any traveling plans this summer we like to explore the city as much as possible, especially when the weather is good!

At Twin Peaks

Enjoying the view (no fog in sight!)

After our visit to Twin Peaks, Dave and I enjoyed some of Nick's Crispy Fish tacos (yumm!) Then we headed over to Fort (something?? I forgot the name of the fort, haha!)

Taking a stroll, but Zayden was so fascinated with all the dogs that were out that day

Zayden and I spent the holiday weekend at Lolo and Lola's house, while Dave hung out with his friends. He made it back in time to celebrate July 4th with us. Too bad we couldn't catch any fireworks this year--Zayden ended up getting a fever.

Grabbin a cold one!

Just this past weekend we finally scheduled an appointment to have Zayden's hair cut again. I really like his long hair, but I'm sure the family will be appeased we finally got it cut (how many times have I heard "he needs a haircut!") Enjoy it now--it will grow back hahaha!
