Dave and I were just in San Diego for one of my best friends, Joanne's wedding. It was nice having this weekend getaway (our first together since having Zayden!) and it was also nice (a.k.a. hella FUN) to be there with our other friends for the wedding as well, haha SPRING BREAK! The weather was perfect (though chilly at night). If only we had more time to go around--next time I guess. While we were away, Zayden was having good times as well with Lolo and Lola--watching Wowowee and dancing to Disney songs. He probably didn't even miss us. All in all it was a good weekend. But of course, when we all get together, it's always good times! Congrats again Jay and thank you for letting me be a part of your big day =)

Happy (belated) Easter and Happy Birthday Month!
My little Easter bunny!
On the hunt
The loot
Easter lunch
Throw the airplane again, Daddy!Ahh Easter memories! Another great thing about having a kid--you get to relive the fun holidays from your own childhood =) Easter's were always fun with the family get togethers, decorating eggs, and going on egg hunts. I remember one time we were at my cousin's house waiting for the egg hunt to begin, excited as we were we began scanning the backyard for any visible eggs so we can grab as many as we can and win the prize. I can't wait to do the same for Zayden. While Zayden is still young to understand the egg hunt, it didn't stop us from having one anyway. Not a hugely successful attempt, but at least we have the memories to show him later. After his egg hunt, we had lunch and Zayden was having a blast with the paper airplane Lolo made for him.
As it is now April it officially has become birthday month for Zayden!! When I was in Santa Barbara, my friends and I started the tradition of celebrating the entire month rather than just the one day for our birthdays--it gave us free reign to have and do whatever we wanted! We hung the birthday banner my parents had made for his birthday party at home to commemorate the month. Zayden loves it--he keeps staring at it and pointing at it (of course, cuz it was Mickey Mouse on it)!
*I'll post more pictures soon from last month since I haven't updated this in a while.
