Can you believe it's almost been one whole year since Zayden was born??! I know people told me that time will go flying by and he'll grow so fast--damn were they tellin the truth! Surprisingly as he is about to reach 10 months, still no teeth. We thought he was teething at 3 months, but nothing yet. Oh well, fine by me. He's been practicing walking a lot, but still is scared to let go and take those first steps on his own. We got him the walker that he uses at daycare so he can use it at home too. It's cute to watch him cautiously move from the walker to the table--slowly stepping around the walker, carefully reaching out to the table before completely letting go of the walker. He just needs to make sure he can grab onto something before he takes steps. I'm excited to see him walking on his own, but at the same time relieved that he isn't just yet (we'd really have to babyproof and watch him more like a hawk!) He's also learned the art of imitation! If I scream, he'll scream right back, same tone/pitch and everything. It's so funny, we'll just go back and forth like that for a minute!! What a silly child, just as I knew he would be.
