More big boy steps for Zayden! This weekend we started him on his first solids--rice cereal. It's always exciting when he can do something new. We already bought the little bowls and spoons a few months ago so we were good to go! The boy did pretty good considering this was something new to him. Although slightly messy, he pretty much ate it easily off the spoon. I anticipated a big mess, but there wasn't much that needed to be cleaned off his little waterproof plastic bib. Oh bachoyboy indeed! Now as soon as he's mastered that we can move on to other solids (but of course introducing them slowly to make sure he doesn't have a bad reaction---I really hope he doesn't develop any major allergies to any foods, that would suck!) Since Tintin bought us the baby foodmaker, Dave and I can make babyfood for him!
